Gary GiovAnnetti was raised on Long Island and is currently a resident of New York City. He attended Syracuse University. Gary's plays have been seen throughout the U.S. and in Australia and China. His short play THE TALE OF SAINT JUDE AND THE DONUT QUEEN was published in New York Theatre Experience's Plays And Playwrights 2001. His short plays THE CANONIZATION OF BILL BUCKNER and AMERICAN THIGHS were Semi-Finalists at the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. His play NIGHT BY MICHELANGELO was produced by Harvest Theater in Toledo, Ohio in 2005 and was called "powerful" and "poignant" by The Toledo Blade. Gary's play TARRAGONA was recently seen at The WorkShop Theater in New York and was praised by Joe Franklin of Bloomberg Radio as "a loving postcard from Spain to the heart of New York", Used York City as "chock-full of witty lines" and by Gadling as "something you shouldn't miss". Gary is a member of WorkShop Theater, Blue Roses Productions, 'Wright On! and the Dramatists Guild.
