Charlie's empire is a wickedly funny 'whodunnit' set in the gaudy limelight of the empire Music Hall. When proprietor Charlie is murdered, anyone could have done it. Was it the knife-thrower? Was it the magician? We know where and when, but as for 'who?' and 'why?'- you'd be surprised!
