Graduating with a Ba in English Literature and an MSc in artificial Intelligence, he worked in aI research at Cambridge University before he turned to TV. Over the last 16 years he has gained substantial production and development experience as both a writer and a script editor. Series credits as a writer include TRIaL & ReTRIBUTION (La Plante Prods), the SaRaH JaNe aDVeNTUReS (BBC Wales), the BILL (contract writer for two years, over 10 eps tx), HOLBY, GRaNGe HILL, ReD CaP (the doomed third series), and a Drama doc for BBC Current affairs called WHaT IF? Recently commissioned projects include an original period action adventure series, aTLaNTIS for ITV Studios, a SF series called THROWBaCKS with Touchpaper, and COPS LTD with Tiger aspect. His play for Radio 4 called LeGSY GeTS a BReaK was nominated for a Sony award in 2010, and he is currently writing a new play for Radio4 called MaD GIRL. His stage play the CHOSeN ONeS completed a national tour in Apr 2011 with Talking Scarlet Productions and new stage play KISS CHaSe is currently under commission to the same company.

Synopsis:
'No-one can leave the garden. . .' a warm, sunny evening in the garden of prosperous businessman Greg Harding's house. Greg has a dark secret, and his new gardener Callum knows all about it. When Greg and his grown up children Ben and anna gather for a birthday barbecue, Callum arrives ready to act as judge, jury - and executioner. Over the course of the evening Callum breaks the close knit family apart, revealing the sins they have committed and the lies that tie them together, showing how a crime in the past has led to a tragedy in the present. all too soon it becomes clear that no-one will be allowed to leave the garden as Callum plays one member of the Harding family off against the other in a game none of them want to play. they've all made choices previously and now it is time for Greg to choose again, however this time it's a choice for a life. What would you do? In a terrifying climax Greg is forced to make his choice, however who can live with that truly horrific decision?

Kiss Chase

Synopsis:
the girl you loved died when you were sixteen, and it broke your heart. and this school reunion you're going to find out who killed her! When he was sixteen, John Dean slammed out of the school gates, glad to be free of the bullying. Thirty years later, he goes to a school reunion looking for the chance to show everyone how he's changed. But when he gets locked in the school gym with a handful of his old enemies, the mood turns dark as they talk about the old days. the last summer at school John's girlfriend died in a house fire, and he never recovered. Over the course of this evening he comes to realise that the people with him were more involved in the night of her death than he ever suspected. as he finally uncovers the truth about the death of his childhood true love, John faces an agonised choice between ending his own pain for ever and taking a chance on a redemptive grace at the hands of his ancient enemy and a woman he cannot trust.
