Confessions Of Deacon Jim, The

Synopsis:
the deadliest man in the history of the west was a quiet, well dressed, church going, family man who never smoked, drank, or cursed. His name was Jim Miller, and he was a killer for hire. In April 1909 Jim Miller was arrested for the murder of a respected ada, Oklahoma cattleman, a.a. "Gus" Bobbitt. While awaiting trial Miller became friendly with his jailer and spoke freely of his life. This is the story of his twenty days in captivity and the town of ada's quest for "justice."

Prisoners

Synopsis:
Somewhere along the way, Americans took a wrong turn. It is still here and now, but not the here and now people have come to know. the American people have been divided into "Levels" and assigned a career and path in life. You are still free to travel, speak your mind, have fun in your free time, but if you are a Level 4, a garbage man, you will be a garbage man forever. This is a play about survival. Three strangers from different Levels, a doctor named SOLOMON, a dancer named eVa, and a former soldier named SaNFORD are thrust together in a dank prison cell during the last weeks of their current government's fall. the strangers begin to coexist, and slowly trust one another under extreme conditions. Now, regardless of their assigned Level, they occupy the same small cell for days upon days.after the government's fall, these former strangers continue their struggle for survival. Now they stay together by choice. With no prison holding them, the trio lives as a family during the rebuilding of their civilization. the effects of their imprisonment are with them day and night, but they have no one else, and they support each other through these tough days. they struggle alone and together, with the hope that what they do now will make a difference for the American generations to come.
