Synopsis: | We are in a big city hospital; cancer clinic with ambitions. The walls may be painted in soft colours to make the patients "feel better". The action takes place in one of the rooms,on a large veranda facing out from the room, and in a corridor. It all does, however, produce a sense of dreamlike stylisation rather than realism. The same goes for the time aspect. The patients come to the hospital for a few days to have their chemo therapy or radiation treatment. But the realistic time perspective is only a departing point. The story is about three very different women who have one thing in common - they all have cancer. Two of them have a poor prognosis, one of them a far better one. During their treatment they are forced to share the same space - both physically and psychologically - and deal with their lives. | |||||
