Michael is an actor, writer and producer who has appeared in numerous world premieres of new plays by outstanding contemporary American writers. His own writing has been presented on stage in New York and Los Angeles and on several radio shows, and he has served as producer and executive producer for Sirius XM Radio, Air America, E!TV and AOL. He has performed in New York, Los Angeles and in regional theatres across the country, and internationally at the National Theatre of Korea in Seoul. As a member of the Brooklyn-based Irondale Ensemble Project, he wrote Wasted!, a noir-style thriller about the demise of public education in the United States. He has also performed on television and film. Michael was co-founder and artistic director of Yale Cabaret Hollywood, where he wrote, produced and participated in numerous plays and workshops. His play, "Dear Father&" A Kafka Cabaret, based on the life and work of Franz Kafka, was a semifinalist in the 2012 Eugene O'Neill Center National Playwrights Conference and the 2013 Eugene O'Neill Music Theatre Conference. He has also written several screenplays, and his political satire can be heard weekly on Sirius XM Radio's "Left Jab". Michael received his MFA from the Yale School of Drama and studied acting at the British American Drama Academy. He continues studying acting with Larry Moss. Michael lives in New York with his wife, actress Nancy Rodriguez, and their two sons. (2015)
