Five competitive couples attempt to attain the unattainable-the Perfect Private School. T-Bone and ashley-she's a pop sensation, he's a washed up rap star wanna-be, reunited to get their child into a good kindergarten. Bill and Les-a disparate yet perfectly matched gay couple, with an adopted Chinese daughter who's a genius. Vicky and Mort-a privileged controlling wife and her long-suffering, though womanizing, breadwinner husband. Dot and ed-a naif, babe-in-the-woods from Kansas, and her progressively savvy techno husband. Carly and Bob-an energizer-bunny business woman and her scheming, though well-intentioned husband. these parents's biggest dream could easily become their worst nightmare, as they enter a world that would make any ordinary parent scream 'I need a vacation!
