Synopsis:
a Disaster Begins is a fictional account of a lone woman and her unbreakable bond with the devastating hurricane that decimated the Texas island of Galveston in 1900, taking the lives of 6,000 in a single night. This is from the press release: "a Disaster Begins finds Veanne Cox on stage equipped with little more than a glass and pitcher of water to tell her tale of the storm, weaving in her shocking experience of presidential corruption, pubescent despair, patriotic fervor, pre-marital passion and paralyzing writer's block."
