Simon Gratton, a professional actor and musician/vocalist in a group called N.N.O (Nice n Offensive). Wrote his first play in 1985. It is titled Magpies Nest. It was developed with the financial support of the Elizabethan Theatre trust under direction of Peter Barclay. Later produced in 1987. In 1988 after seeing his second play Kickback, produced and directed by Peter Barclay. Gratton was involved in a serious head on motor vehicle accident. He has been writing since but not with the same desperation. Five plays later. He is as we speak writing a novel, with the dream of it becoming a screenplay.
