Synopsis:
Flo's had an accident with her car, and the mood at home is that she should spend some time with Auntie Jane in Newcastle. . . just until things cool down. Both Flo and Jane have ideas about what Flo's stay might entail, but the reality will prove very different from anything that either of them could expect. Four individually developed characters. Scenes formed from structured improvisation. A brand new play. Throughout the autumn months, a company of four actors have each spent time creating a character working on a one-on-one basis with director Lewis Gray, they've drawn on observations of everyday life, with the ultimate aim of playing a character as vivid and lifelike as someone who has just walked in off the street. Scenes have been developed out of improvised encounters between these characters which has provided the basis of our new play. It's been written. It's being rehearsed.
