Antigone
Antigone has always been a respected member of her community but in civil war all bets are off. She suddenly finds herself on the outside looking in. Everyone has a right to bury their dead. Everyone has a right to give their loved ones a dignified resting place. Yet when the community leaders decide that they need to set an example, they deny Antigone her right to mourn. Faced with the prospect of unresolved grief, she rebels against everything she knows.

Hypatia 2
Synopsis:
Hypatia, a Greek astronomer, mathematician and philosopher, was one of the first mathematicians of the cosmos. Her brutal murder by Christian fanatics in 415 AD is regarded by many as symbolising the end of the classical era. Hypatia existed in a world where women were generally not respected as intellectuals. Maths in particular was seen as a masculine art. Indeed much of her renown was due to her legendary beauty rather than her intelligence. Griffiths plays a woman mathematician, battling the same prejudices as Hypatia, embroiled in multiple layers of conflict against her male count

Sappho Unravelling
2700 years ago, Sappho is the world's first love poet, the tenth muse of the ancient Greeks, and the inspiration for every lovelorn writer and songster since. But as the centuries have passed with the coming and goings of hundreds of libidinous handymen restoring her buttresses, history has caught up with Sappho. Her tale has become a gap in time for new generations to pour their needs and desires, but what is the truth behind her own story? Placed alongside a modern love story of sensuality, sexual awakening and broken-hearts, Sappho. . . in 9 fragments exposes the timeless undoing of love.

Sappho. . .In 9 Fragments
Synopsis:
2700 years ago, Sappho is the world's first love poet, the tenth muse of the ancient Greeks, and the inspiration for every lovelorn writer and songster since. But history catches up with her, and over time, Sappho becomes just a gap to be filled with the lusts and desires of each new generation... Sappho...in 9 fragments is a roller-coaster, tour de force through two and a half millennia of Sappho's story, weaving together the strange tale of her fragmented reception with a contemporary love story in her own words.

Wild Surmise
Synopsis:
A duet between two passionate yet dislocated voices, Wild Surmise is a moving elegy to a marriage that has faded into oblivion. Astronomer Alex searches for life on a distant moon but finds herself consumed by a very human affair. Her literary-loving husband Daniel faces his mortality with sardonic relish, but begs the poets for answers they cannot provide. And while their attentions lie elsewhere, a marriage melts into memory.
