Midge Guerrera has had a multi-faceted career that includes professional experiences as a writer, actress (host of the Emmy Award winning series Around and About New Jersey,) director, producer and arts administrator. She has been responsible for the design and development of an equity theater company, arts center, university arts administration major, and two performing arts high schools. As the artistic director of the Laffin' Stock Company (a professional children's theatre) she wrote and produced over twenty children's plays. A specialist in developing venue specific plays for historic sites, and communities, Midge has been commissioned by schools, cultural and heritage commissions, house museums, historic societies and bi-centennial committees. She received an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Goddard College and admires her advisor, playwright Deborah Brevoort, for being a great artist and fabulous teacher. Midge holds an MA and BA in theater from Montclair State University. She is a member of the Passage Theatre Play Lab and the Dramatist Guild of America.
