Florodora Geisha, TheFlorodora
On the island of Florodora the florodora flower grows. This is used to make the perfume "Florodora". American Cyrus W Gilfain in an underhand way takes over the perfume factory and island when the owner dies. His daughter, Dolores, has to go to work in the factory instead of owning it. a ship arrives on board is Frank abercoed who is really Lord abercoed in disguise. Frank has been hired as manager of the factory. also on the ship is Lady Holyrood - penniless and in search of a rich husband. Frank and Dolores fall in love - Gilfain has them broken up - he wants to marry Dolores to be secure with the acquisitions of things rightfully hers. He orders Frank to marry Lady Holyrood - he refuses and is sacked. He tells Dolores to wait for him and returns home to Wales. However, when he arrives back at his stately home he finds that Gilfain is there and is taking it over.

the Teahouse Of the Ten Thousand Joys - owner Wun-hi is overjoyed when the British navy docks and the sailors head for his establishment. among the sailors is Lieutenant Reggie Fairfax who had been before and been smitten by the charms of the head geisha Mimosa. the other girls entertain the sailors and Reggie teaches Mimosa to kiss. a minor lordling arrives he has gotten permission from the emperor to marry Mimosa and he has come for her. then a party of english women arrive. their leader Lady Constance Wynneis shocked to see Reggie and Mimosa. Lady Constance reminds him that he is engaged to Molly Seamore - but Reggie is enjoying being with Mimosa. and who should turn up next but Molly. Lady Constance tells her what has been happening. Upset Molly talks to Mimosa not knowing that Mimosa is the one that Reggie is interested in. Mimosa suggests that Molly disguise herself as a geisha and try and win Reggie back that way
