Brian Hampton received his Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing from Spalding University and his Bachelors of Arts in Theatre from Christopher Newport University. "Checking In," Brian's first play, received its World Premiere at the actors Guild of Lexington in 2005. Brian is a member of both actors equity association and the Dramatist Guild of America.

Checking In
Synopsis:
Six mixed-matched friends from Virginia now struggling to make their way in the world reunite for a weekend in Atlantic City. they rehash the past and catch up on the present. But, when they discover one of them has been hiding a shocking reality, her reasons send them into a tailspin - questioning whether there's more to their bond than a case of beer, a carton of cigarettes, and a room full of high school nostalgia.
