Born in St Petersburg, Victoria Haralabidou studied at the Russian Institute of Cinematography in Moscow, the Greek Drama School in Athens. She is a world-class actor, having worked on stage and screen in Australia and internationally, for Neil Armfield, Peter Andrikidis, Pantelis Voulgaris and Martin Scorsese. In 2004 Victoria won Best Actress Award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for the Martin Scorsese production of Greek feature Brides and was nominated in 2010 for a Greek Oscar (HEllenic Academy of Cinema) for the Greek feature, With Heart and Soul. One Scientific Mystery or Why Did the Aborigines eat Captain Cook was selected for the 2012 National Play Festival Melbourne, and is Victoria's debut work as an emerging playwright in Australia.
