Darling Of the Day
Based on arnold Bennett's Buried alive, Styne, Harburg and Johnson adapted this story of a celebrated artist, yearning for anonymity. He fakes his own death and assumes his valet's identity but carries on painting - which means that his art mysteriously keeps reappearing, and then, in this musical satire, the high born artist meets a working-class woman.

Finian's Rainbow
Finian's Rainbow is the story of the Irishman Finian McLonergan and his daughter Sharon, who travel to a small Southern town in the mythical state of Missitucky with plans to bury a stolen pot of gold in the shadows of Fort Knox, in the mistaken belief it will grow and multiply. they have been followed from Ireland by the owner of the gold, a leprechaun, who shows up determined to recover his treasure. the musical is unusual in that it deals in a satirical way with issues of class and race, most specifically in the character of a bigoted southern senator who is accidentally turned black. Harburg and Lane created one of Broadway's greatest popular scores, including 'How are Things in Glocca Morra?,' 'When I'm Not Near the Girl I Love (I Love the Girl I'm Near),' 'That Old Devil Moon,' and 'If This Isn't Love'

Flahooley
Puppet designer Sylvester Cloud has created a remarkable doll called Flahooley. as Flahooley is about to be unveiled at the company's big Christmas release to the board of directors, the meeting is interrupted and chaos and delightful complications ensue. This zany and highly entertaining musical comedy is filled with puppets, video, singing, dancing and a score by Sammy Fain and lyrics/book by Yip Harburg and Fred Saidy. It is important to note that although Flahooley is an enchanting and entertaining show for audiences of all ages, it also addresses serious political questions. This groundbreaking allegorical musical fantasy was developed by Yip Harburg as a reaction to Joe McCarthy's reign in the 1950s when the shameful blacklisting of American citizens was occurring throughout the United States.
