Christopher Harley is a Sydney-based writer and composer. With a focus in writing for Theatre, Christopher's plays and musicals have been performed in Sydney and Newcastle, by both professional and co-operative companies. His first musical, In a Pink Tutu, was professionally premiered as part of the inaugural 2010 Sydney Fringe Festival with a successful season at the Seymour Centre. Before this, the musical was staged in Newcastle, winning him a City of Newcastle Dramatic Award. His Theatre songs have been performed by renowned singers throughout Australia and his short plays the go-Second Party and Box have been featured at Short+Sweet play festivals across AustraliA. Most recently he was won first place in atyp's (Love Bytes) national film-writing competition for his short film How Was Work? and his first full-length play the Kimono-Wearing Queen is currently undergoing professional development with Queensland Theatre Company and PlayLab AustraliA. Christopher also works as a freelance incidental music composer and has composed the scores for plays including the Hour We Knew Nothing of eoch Other, Woyzeck, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Love's Triumph. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Music (Hons) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Synopsis:
Michael is waiting to give blood for his brother. Justin is waiting for the transfusion. Abbey is just, well, waiting. They dont know it yet, but they desperately need each other. In the dreamlike limbo of an ice-cold waiting room, they slowly trade secrets and a surprising love story emerges.
