Madd Harold is the artistic Director of Gravy Bath Productions. Originally from Ottawa, Madd studied at the Stella adler Conservatory in New York and at the London academy of Performing arts in England. His radically imaginative and novel work has been seen in New York, London, Edinburgh, Montreal, and Toronto. as an actor, he has played a multitude of parts on television, in films, and on both classical and contemporary stages. He recently collaborated with Robert Lepage and John Mighton on the Lincoln Centre's upcoming production of Elegant Universe. His first book, The actor's Guide to Performing Shakespeare was published by Lone Eagle Publishing in 2002. Madd now lives in Toronto, and is currently working with the Soulpepper Theatre Company.

Synopsis:In the 1960s a group of Montreal teens meet another who has become a Hindu. They call him "Pineapple". They soon forget him and the play follows their lives through the seventies and eighties. Pineapple - whose name is Anada goes to India to persue his new religion
