Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin
Synopsis:
This brand new family musical theatre show tells the dark and juicy tale of Rumpelstiltskin, a strange, scheming creature who saves the life of the Miller's daughter but demands a terrible price in return. The poor Miller's daughter is a feisty, funny heroine who must overcome the twin adversities of a foolish father and a frankly rather disappointing king, before ultimately matching wits and wills with Rumpelstiltskin himself. Can she guess his name and keep her fi rst-born child? This newly-commissioned fantasy tells of magic, mischief and menace in a thrilling take on the classic Grimm fairy tale. It is a tale of loose tongues, desperate deals and the power of names - all told through deliciously witty lyrics and swinging tunes, accompanied by a multi-tasking three-piece band.
