an award-winning playwright and screenwriter, Virginia is a member of Playwrights Guild of Canada, Playwrights atlantic Resource Centre and Writers Federation of Nova Scotia. a number of her plays have been produced in Canada, USA and Australia. BBC and CBC radio have broadcast some short fiction and non-fiction pieces and her short fiction has also been published as have a number of academic works. Her first feature film "Branded" is in pre-production in Europe (2008).
