Mela

Synopsis:
angela is eight months pregnant and stranded several hundred feet from the ground in a Ferris wheel. above her, a couple of kids attempt to spit on her head. Below her, an elderly Polish refugee muses on his memories of the Warsaw ghetto. and below him sprawls the seething mass of humanity, which is Bradford's annual Mela, one of the largest festivals in Europe.

Players

Synopsis:
Friday night in Bradford and as usual ali, aftab and Kal gather in the pool hall. But tonight they're waiting for the return of their old friend Bobby, back after eight years in London. ali's Mr Responsible, taking care of his Dad's pool hall, married, kids, the works. aftab's the younger brother, trackie bottoms in socks, knock off Bradford tops in bag, and Kal is the embittered ex-cricket star, working in a garage and drinking too much. When Bobby arrives it will be an evening that decides who are the Players and what is the Game.
