Painter's Eye, The
Synopsis:
London, 1890's. An American painter arrives in London, befriended by a British gentleman who dreams of becoming a respected art dealer. The dealer-friend has a list of wealthy clients but the American painter has an eye for the ladies, including a mysterious former actress.
Notes:
The play can be presented with 12 to 15 performers. Some supporting roles can be played by either females or males. Although the play takes place in Victorian New York and London, it can be produced cost-effectively with a basic set and clever costuming.
