Americn Hystery

Synopsis:
Two plays dealing with actual historical incidents involving hysteria. Both plays are farces using the same five actors. Further Wonders of the Divil in Massachusetts deals with the efforts of Cotton and Increase Mather, the witch-hunting Father and son team, to squelch a case of possession which popped up just a year after the infamous Salem trials. the Death of Martha Washing-ton, Jr. reveals what George Washington's stepdaughter saw through a crack in his study door, causing her to perish in a fit.
