Griffin Hennelly is a playwright/comedian/ backslash enthusiast who was born in 1991 and raised in a small Ukrainian village by an overbearing but kind hearted female goat wrestler named Ursula (TRUTH: Born and raised in Dumont NJ by a kindergarten teacher Mother and a magician/ballet dancer Father). He studied bland colors at brown and cantaloupe at Carnegie Melon (TRUTH: Never attended college. Studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting). Influences include Tyler Perrys Madea series (TRUTH: Monty Python, Mel Brooks, Christopher Durang, Ben Elton and his own raging Irish catholic guilt). Plays include Doublets and Hose, Blaine Clemmins is Blaine Clemmins in: This is Me Starring Blaine Clemmins, Ending It on the N Train, The Two Month Rule (musical co-written with Nolan Hennelly and Chris Scott Geller), Happy Birthday: Carol Finnegan and Holy Hands. Griffin Was a participant in The Blank Theater Companys 2008 Young Playwrights Festival, The New York Musical Festival and the Chain Theaters Harvest and Unchained Theater festivals. He performs comedy regularly around New York City.
