I Was Adored Once Too
Synopsis:
the exasperated, sarcastic Mr. Anderson is experiencing greater difficulties than anticipated in rehearsing his secondary school pupils for their production of Twelfth Night - and all the familiar snags are present too! But Birkett, the "numbskull" whom he barely trusts on the lighting board and certainly could not risk on stage, emerges not only as an unexpected romantic but has more to offer when he has to step into the role of Sir andrew aguecheek. Offering a clear view of the life of contemporary teenagers in an easily imagined situation, this play contains a number of poignant as well as many humorous moments and should have wide appeal for secondary schools.
