Beloved Friend

Synopsis:
a High School student is told to become a pen pal to a girl in Rhodesia who is the same age. Kristin has an affluent life in America and Rachel is poor and life is a struggle. Over the years they become great sources of support for each other. When Rhodesia becomes independent Rachel is made a Government Minister. She is sent to Washington D.C. Worried that she has not heard from Kristin for some time she goes on imPulse to Kristin's home town. She finds her friend in a coma in hospital.
