Thomas Hescott trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, with the English National Opera's Baylis Programme and on the National Theatre Studio Directors Course. He was previously Staff Director at the National Theatre (2004-2005), Resident Director at Chichester Festival Theatre (2005-2007), Associate Director at Y Touring (2008-2009) and Director and Project Manager for Heat and Light at Hampstead Theatre (2010-2011). Thomas is currently nominated (with Matthew Baldwin) as Most Promising New Playwright at the 2013 Off West End Awards for THE ACT.
