Girl From Gdansk
Synopsis:
Liam Heylin's new play is the story of two brothers trying to survive beyond the shadow of their past. It tells the love story of a young Polish immigrant, and explores the boys' mother's relationship with the local barber. This interwoven tale of love, jealousy, and hate takes an unexpected turn as past resentment gets the better of the two brothers. Sad, funny, sweet, and dark.

Love, Peace, And Robbery
Synopsis:
This is part of 59e59's 1st Irish 2008, a festival of Irish theatre in New York. Liam Heylin's play spins the escapades of Gary and Darren-both straight out of prison. Living with a curfew and the broken pieces of their pasts, they confront life back on the streets of Cork. Love, Peace, and Robbery proves that there may actually be honor among thieves.
