Choir, The
Synopsis:
A funny, gritty but ultimately heart-warming musical play by Paul Higgins and Ricky Ross about a group of strangers who come together, not always willingly, to sing in a community choir. Week by week, this disparate group - from a Tory councillor to an Iraqi immigrant - learn a little more about each other, and themselves, as each member shares a favourite song to be learnt by all. But, as passions and prejudices are revealed, is singing enough to keep this diverse group from falling apart?

Nobody Will Ever Forgive Us
Patrick comes home unexpectedly from the seminary and older brother Johnny's not slow to tap him for money. Mum is suspicious, Dad seems indifferent, and pissed, and little sister Cath is distracted and medicated. Living on their wits, stalked by violence and death, defending themselves with the blackest humour, Nobody Will ever Forgive Us is the story of a family under siege.
