Count Of Luxembourg, The
Synopsis:
Grand Duke Rutzinov has fallen in love with Angele a commoner and may not marry her. He devises a way that she can get a title. He pays his friend Count Rene to marry her and then divorce her thus Angele will have a title. the marriage takes place with Angele behind a screen so she and Rene do not see each other. Later at a party they meet and are attracted to one another not knowing they are in fact married. When Angele finds out that Rene is her husband and that he only did it for the money she storms out. the Duke meanwhile has fallen in love with a Russian countess and wants her instead of Angele. Rene inherits a large sum of money and pays back the Duke.
