Sean Huze is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. at the age of seven he became involved with Playmakers, a children's theatre group. after numerous productions with them he began studying with Virginia Hill. Under her guidance and training he was accepted into the drama program at North Carolina School of the arts. From there he made the move to Los Angeles in 1999, where he was featured in several sitcoms and co-starred in Felony Bayou Pictures' "arrested Soul". He has studied with Paul Gleason, Eric Morris, and Marlon Hoffman in L.a. On September 11th, 2001, America fell victim to the most horrendous attacks in the country's history. On September 12th, Sean walked into the Marine Corps recruiter's office at Sunset and La Brea and started the process of enlisting into the USMC. He left for boot camp at Marine Corps Recruiting Depot - San Diego in October and graduated in January of 2002. In June of 2002 he received orders to 2nd Light armored Reconnaissance Battalion in Camp Lejeune, NC. Upon arrival he immediately distinguished himself by performing consistently above the expectations of his rank and grade. On February 6, 2003 he left with his battalion for Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. 2nd LaR was attached to 1st Marine Division throughout combat operations in Iraq. Their first major conflict occurred on March 23, 2003 just south of Nasirya in a twelve hour fire-fight named "The Battle of the Coil." Two days later his aT (anti-tank) LaV rolled off into a tank ditch during a late night road march, hindered by a severe sand storm. He suffered injuries in the roll that were not diagnosed until he returned to the States with the rest of his battalion after their deployment ended. Sean Huze has been recognized for his individual contributions as a member of General Support Platoon (The Hammer) and was awarded a Certificate of Commendation citing his "courage and self sacrifice throughout sustained combat operations" while in Iraq. He has also been awarded the Navy & Marine Corps achievement Medal, the Combat action Ribbon, Meritorious Promotion for Corporal, The Presidential Unit Citation, The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He returned to acting starring in his debut as a playwright, "The Sand Storm: Stories from the Front", which opened September 24th, 2004 in Hollywood, California. The play, based on his own experiences in the war in Iraq, mark his finest work to date. March 17th, 2005 marked the return of "The Sand Storm: Stories from the Front" to Los Angeles, Ca just ten days after Sean was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps. He was married to actress, Nickie Huze (Nickie Benner) on April 12, 2002 and is the father of andrew Patrick Huze (born May 21, 2002).

Dragon Slayer, The
Synopsis:
Joey Dallriva returns from Iraq a broken man suffering from PTSD. Tortured by his combat experience, he has become convinced that his childhood devotion to God and the Roman Catholic Church had been betrayed since his faith cannot save him from the pain he now feels. Escaped from the psychiatric ward at the Naval Hospital, Joey confronts the source of his lost faith, his lifelong priest, Father Lawrence. What ensues is the struggle of these two men desperately searching for answers that are necessary to save them both.
