I am a Director and Writer with a passion for pantomime. I primarily work in musical theatre and I love anything which has an element of comedy or is developed specifically to entertain the audience. I grew up near Exeter where I visited the Exeter Northcott Theatre every year to see their panto, and spent 10 years as director, performer and writer in a local amateur theatre group before working professionally in theatre. I love writing, watching and directing pantomimes and its a privilege to share my scripts with others for them to produce.

Aladdin

Synopsis:
Aladdin dreams of a life full of adventure, not his dreary existence at the Lost-Sock Laundrette of Old Peking. When the evil sorcerer Abanaza is awoken from his tomb, he is determined to conquer the world. But without the genie in the magical lamp of the orient, he has no power. Cinderella

Synopsis:
Cinderella lives under the tyranny of her horrible ugly step sisters and wicked step mother at Hardup Hall following the death of her beloved father Baron Hardup. Assisted by his royal liege Dandini, the prince is looking for true happiness and a princess to boot. Its time for a royal ball! Can Cinderellas best friend Buttons and her Fairy Godmother get her to the royal ball on time? Cinderella truly is the fairy godmother of all pantomimes.

Dick Whittington

Synopsis:
Dick, a simple country lad, seeks his fortune in London where hes heard the streets are paved with gold. Setting off for the city with his trusty cat Tommy in search of bright lights (and bushy tails!). But London has a royal rat infestation and Mayor Fitzwarren needs help. With a little help from the Spirit of the Bells, and a sprinkle of luck, Dick has the chance to prove himself and save his reputation. Join Sarah the Cook (owner of the Big Buns Bakery), Idle Jack and a host of colourful comedy characters as they sail the seven seas and bid to rid London of the plague of rats.

Peter Pan

Synopsis:
When the Darling children get put to bed by Nanny McSmee every night, they dream of the boy who never grows up and adventures in Neverland fighting Captain Hooks evil pirates. Little do they know its all true until Peter Pan himself comes to visit one cold winters night. With a little help from Tinkerbells fairy dust, a flight via the second star on the right whisks them away to Neverland where they meet a host of colourful characters; Big Chief, Tiger Lilly, mermaids, lost boys, pirates and even a crocodile! This high-flying pantomime takes you on a trip of a lifetime from the London skyline to the deck of the Jolly Roger, the indian encampment, the lost boys hideout and the mermaid lagoon.

Puss in Boots

Synopsis:
Tom arrives in the Kingdom of Shoeshine with only a useless cat for company hoping for a new life where he can start afresh. When Puss gains the ability to talk (and sing) things start getting interesting. Bettie Boot the owner of Ye Olde Boote, takes Tom and Puss under her wing and with the Spirit of the Whiskers and some magic boots Tom starts to make a life for himself. Meanwhile the evil Furball is on the prowl and Tom hopes to marry the daughter of King Champagne; Princess Chantilly. Will they get the happy-ever-after theyve always wanted, or will Ogre Rumbletum and his evil henchmen Shortcoat and Bobtail win the day? This really is the purr-fect family pantomime.

Rapunzel

Synopsis:
Preparations are underway for Princess Rapunzels big birthday bash, but when the evil Fairy Dreadlock doesnt get an invite from King and Queen Quiff, she kidnaps Rapunzel and locks her in a tower in the woods. Luckily Flynn, his pantomime horse Britney Spurs, Dame Penny Perm the royal hairdresser and Fairy Hair-Do set off to rescue Rapunzel. Will Flynn win the day and Rapunzels trust? Will Fairy Dreadlock succeed in her plot to ruin royal happiness? Will Penny Perm find a new man in the audience tonight? This hair-raising pantomime adventure is the perfect alternative pantomime tale for every generation.

Snow White and the Seven Christmas Elves

Synopsis:
This is my Christmas-themed alternative to a traditional Snow White pantomime script. Snow White is the most talented girl in Christmas Town and Queen Miserables knows it. The royal Housekeeper Dame Holly Bush and her son Harry Bush create comic mayhem throughout and Fairy Jinglebell is training up the fresh Fairy Frosting to gain her wings, and theres a very special man in the mirror on the block. Sure to go down a treat with the younger audience members. When Snow White has to run from the wicked Queen Miserables, she shelters with seven Christmas elves who work in Santas workshop building toys. Prince Noel and the others must find her before its too late.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Synopsis:
When Princess Snow Whites father dies, the kingdom is left in the clutches of the wicked Queen Malevolent, her reluctant step mother. Power-hungry and vein, the wicked queen rules the kingdom with an iron fist, her sidekick Heinrich the Henchman and Mirror Mirror trapped under her control. But with the help of Dame Nora Virus, her best friend Muddles and the seven dwarfs, Snow White might just find happiness with Prince Charles. This really is the fairest pantomime in the land.
