Uke Jackson is the author of several plays including The Secret Warhol Rituals (1995), Monster Time (1989), Avenue Z Afternoon (1992) which he adapted into a teleplay for Nederlander TV. All these were produced under his birth name Stephen DiLauro. Around the turn of the millennium, his efforts as a folk singer and band leader led to him adopting the moniker Uke Jackson. In 2008, his musical comedy Ukulele Land (f.k.a. Sex! Drugs! & Ukuleles!) was produced with a score by Terry Waldo. Uke Jackson is also the author of the River Tales series of stories and music for families, available from the Delaware Riverkeeper Network or everywhere as downloads. His novel Broadway Vampire, a dark horror thriller, was published in 2010. Thank you for your interest.
