Synopsis:
the story revolves around immigration and the convoluted web of emotional and health issues on FGM (female genital mutilation). It is based on the struggle of a white American woman immigration judge who must rule on a case wherein an African Father requests asylum in the United States for himself and his daughter in order to prevent her from being subjected to this centuries-old African tradition
