Count Your Blessings
Synopsis:
a young married couple have financial problems. To solve them they take in paying guests - but most of the guests cannot afford to pay their rent. The wife will receive a lump sum from an aunt's will if she becomes a widow or is divorced. So they decide a divorce is in order with a re-marriage to follow once the money has been obtained. a co-respondant is required. The wife chooses a dowdy young lady who is staying with them. Unfortunately she finds her husband in the arms of a buxom blonde.

Double Take
Synopsis:
Peter and Verity live in a mansion. They have servants and a lovely home. They do not have any money. Elizabeth and a neighbour Cornelius hit on a plan - Cornelius will break into the mansion and steal Elizabeth's pearls - then Elizabeth can claim for them on the insurance. Meanwhile, Peter has come up with the same idea. He makes his attempted burglary at the same time as Cornelius - but they find that a real burglar has beaten them to it.

Young Wives Tale
Synopsis:
Two couples share a house. Mary and Bruce and Sabina and Rodney. They both have a small child each. The couples share a nanny but one day Rodney insults her and she leaves. a new nanny is found but when she arrives she mistakes Bruce to be Sabina's husband and they play along with that because they do not want their real partners to know they were kissing.
