Patchwork Lives

Synopsis:
Arletty Theatre has taken stories from the people of Nottinghamshire and stitched them into a play called Patchwork Lives which will be performed at Buxton Fringe. Written by Imogen Joyce with musical soundscape by Matt Marks, Patchwork Lives features Quilter who lives in a big, old house full of lost stories collected over many years. But time is running out because the world is changing. An ominous cloud has appeared and the house has made a decision of its own. Now, with the help of a ghost, Quilter must find a way to gather together all the stories to ensure they are never lost again. Arletty Theatre specialises in "innovative, boundary-breaking theatre" and has "created a moving and funny play, incorporating the memories of a community".
