Colette Kane is a Writer on Attachment 2011-12 at the Liverpool everyman and Playhouse Theatres. She is under commission from the Liverpool everyman and Playhouse to write a play Scarlett. Her previous plays include Belong (Arcola Theatre); Ways to Look At Fish (Theatre 503); Hatch (24:7 Theatre Festival, Manchester and Bolton Octagon) which was a Manchester evening New Nominee for Best Fringe Play. It also won the Vicky Allen equity Award for Best Overall Production, as well as the Audience Award. Some of her short plays have been performed at the Soho Theatre (2012), Roundhouse (2010), and she has had readings at the Liverpool Playhouse, Millennium Centre, and Globe Theatre. In 2008, she was part of Paines Plough's Future Perfect season (writing short plays for various spaces across the country) and she has also been involved in the National Theatre's Playwriting Project.
