John Paul Karliak is an actor/writer from the "Electric City," Scranton, Pennsylvania who currently resides in LA. Recent TV/film: "Ringer" (CW) and Dante's Inferno (Starz), "Little Black Dress" (AFI). Recent LA theatre: The Mistakes Madeline Made (west coast premiere),The Girl, the Grouch & the Goat (world premiere), Into the Woods, Inherit the Wind. John Paul is a graduate of the USC School of Theatre, iO West, and Second City Training Center. He has written numerous short films and four plays produced in locales around the country. Donna/Madonna marks John Paul's first full-length solo production. Since it's debut in 2010, it has won numerous awards including "Best One Man Show" (2010 United Solo Theatre Festival), "Overall Excellence in Solo Performance" (2011 New York International Fringe Festival) and "Best of Fringe" (2011 San Francisco Fringe Festival) plus several accolades from StageSceneLA's "Scenie Awards."
