New Atlantis is Michael's second commission for LAStheatre following Hweol, as part of Christmas at Kew 2014. He wrote and directed The Perils of Love & Gravity (Edinburgh Fringe & London transfer). Other writings have appeared on the BBC, at the Canal Cafe , The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh and the Adelaide Fringe. As an actor, stage credits include Play of Thrones (Union Theatre), Once Upon A Christmas (Look Left Look Right), The Ride of Your Life (On Theatre/Polka), Chatroom (National Theatre) and on screen he has been in Mr Turner (Thin Man Films), The Hollow Crown (BBC/Neal St Prods) and Warhol (Ditto Prods) among others. He's a member of award winning improv troupe Battleacts! Michael is currently developing a new show with LAStheatre for The Lost Carnival later this year.

Synopsis:
The year is 2050. Miami has been abandoned due to rising sea levels, water austerity is hitting a drought-ridden London and the CEOs of two major energy companies have been imprisoned for historic climate crimes. Presiding over these developments are the agents of New Atlantis, an organisation established to guide Humanity through the most pressing issues of the 21st century.
