One of the most influential director/choreographers of our time, Forsythe has created a radical, captivating vision of dance-theater that combines spoken text and ravishingly complex choreography. Three atmospheric Studies is his most political work to date, triggered by the imagery and fallout from the conflict in the Middle East. The three-part piece for sixteen performers opens with a delirious, highly stylized portrayal of street chaos. The violence escalates, explosions reverberate, bodies surge and fly.
