When he attended Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, California, Justin Krasner-Karpen wrote the one-act play http://bitswit.ch/, and co-wrote several short plays at Play-in-a-Day events. Justin was on the music-writing team for the original musical Young Americans, which he performed with his high school at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe through the American High School Theatre Festival. He enjoys acting and directing, and is a National Honor Thespian. Currently, Justin studies computer science and linguistics at Stanford University, where he performs with the Stanford Improvisors. He writes for the Stanford Flipside, a weekly satirical newsletter. Entropy Increasing in a Closed System is his first published play.

Entropy Increasing In A Closed System
Two friends, stripped of their ability to relax their muscles, face one another, or use punctuation, struggle to reconstruct why they are trapped in this situation. In the process, they reenact several possible versions of their relationship's most traumatic (yet only half-remembered) moment. As the title guarantees, several irrecuperable minutes slip away from the actors, crew, and audience.
