Asphalt Kiss, The

Synopsis:
arandir a young man witness an accident in which a bus runs down a man. He goes to the victim - who as he lies there dying asks arandir to kiss him. This arandir does. a newspaper reporter witness it and takes photographs. It appears on the front page of the newspaper. then rumours start arandir and the man were lovers. arandir and his lover had fallen out and arandir had pushed him under the bus. arandir's life is ruined.

Pornographic Angel

Synopsis:
In the 1950s/60s Rodrigues wrote fiction inspired by the dark side of Brazil's middle class for the newspaper column 'Life as It Is.' Pornographic angel brings Rodrigues's eerie short stories to American audiences today through physical theatre, video, and music. Brazilian director Claudia Tatinge Nascimento brings a contemporary perspective to Rodrigues's haunting tales by combining '50s Brazilian dance and song to video and a minimalist set
