Jack started his theatrical career working backstage and in film projection but it wasn't long before he found himself at home on stage. Over the last 12 years he has worked in a variety of roles in countless pantomimes, musicals and plays with the most recent being The National Theatre's production of Great Britain at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. In 2010 Jack founded Engine Shed Theatre Company and went on to co-adapt three episodes and two Christmas specials of the classic BBC sitcom, Steptoe and Son which met with approval from the original writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson. Jack took the role of Albert Steptoe whilst producing and designing the productions. More recently he played opposite Only Fools and Horses star John Challis for Extravaganza's record breaking production of Peter Pan. Previous credits include: Gretel and Hansel, Cue For A Song, Steptoe & Son (Guildford Fringe) Peter Pan (Middlesbrough), From Turner To Houston, National Theatre Connections (voice), Steptoe & Son Christmas Special, The Wizard of Oz, Aladdin, Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, Confusions, Annie, That's Entertainment (The Capitol Horsham) The Show Must Go On and Max Bialystock in The Producers (The Hawth).

Synopsis:
In this emotional rollercoaster one-man play Jack takes you behind Norman Wisdom's well-known character to reveal a tough and lonely childhood. After joining the Army he discovers a passion for comedy and begins to perfect an act that would go on to shape his unique style. The world of post-war Music Hall and Variety embraces Norman's manic slapstick routine catapulting him to stardom in the early 1950s. Success on the silver screen including the hit song, 'Don't Laugh at Me', seals his fame. But fame comes at a price. . .
