Synopsis:
an old tramp lies huddled on the floor, as if asleep in a shop doorway. He wakes, fixes the watching audience with a baleful stare, rummages in his small heap of belogings, and slowly, almost grudgingly, begins to tell us a story - a story of love and marriage, seperation and divorce, high hopes, mounting debts, and eventual disaster, that invites all of us in the audience to think, as we too rarely do, about the human stories behind the grime-streaked faces of those who live rough.
