Cellar Children, The
Synopsis:
Michele Lee's script struck me as neo-impressionistic. It haunted me like a Grimm fairy tale, disarmed like Zen. From there, it became about body langauge perversion, and abstraction of individualism.

Moths
Synopsis:
I don't really see myself as feminine and I don't really think of myself as Asian. Fuck the categories. We're beyond 'insert ethnicity'. They head towards the light. They burst from their chrysalis. But is their journey over? Six actors rehearse a play exploring gender and Asian identity. Using words from the transcripts of over twenty-five interviews, Michele Lee offers a refreshing and hilarious take on 'the play within a play'. The conversation that unfolds will surprise and confront the actors and us.
