This is an epic story of strength and vulnerability, unmistakably Leicester born and bred, of Windrush pioneers, spanning the 60s - 90s with highlights of family troubles, encounters with Disco Divas and Club Culture plus the underside of the music business and fame. all that glitters may not be gold. . .Solitaire - a rare and precious jewel set apart, her life seemed like a long distance race, a battle or game, but would she ever win?
