American Buggery
Synopsis:
Subversive but (more or less) true, based on court records from colonial New england about men hanged for bestiality, the play uses highminded dialogue, simple folk-based music, and ridiculous staging.
Notes:
Humans double As Animals. Instrumentation is kazoos And overturned tin pails played by the cast, so trained musicians Are not necessary. Music And lyrics Are by the playwright.

Synopsis:
a mother reacts to the suicide of her son, a police officer who committed suicide after accidentally killing a man who resisted arrest, by joining the anti-abortion movement. Two homeless men who come into the Right-to-Life office (to use the bathroom and to keep warm) challenge her brokenness and lead to the emergence of a resisting self.
