Mike Lesser, born and raised in the boogie down Bronx. He wrote, starred, and directed his first play, Death on the Princess Oceanic to rave reviews. After that groundbreaking work, he went on to the fourth grade. Recently, his play, Nice and Other Hateful Words!, was read in Silent Street Productions reading series, in New York City. Mike's Short Plays, The Last Medal of Black Patti, More Than Just Tuesdays, The Delivery, True Clown Stories, and Excerpts from Monologues in the Key of Krazy, were presented at Theater for the New City's Lower Eastside Festival. He has studied with Rogelio Martinez, Francine Volpe, and Winter Miller at the Einhorn School of Performing Arts at Primary Stages. There he had two short plays, and one monologue performed for their Detention Series of New Works. He received his BFA in Theatre Studies from Boston University College of the Arts, where he was a founding member of The Playground Festival O Playwrights. He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.

Nice and Other Hateful Words!

Synopsis:
Can Singles in their thirties find true love in New York City in the 90's? Jumping back and forth from two apartments on "holiday" weekends over the course of one year, we see how they come to terms with their own demons, labels and neurotic tendencies towards love, the opposite sex and their search for a meaningful relationship. Stolen Wishes

Synopsis:
Deep inside an urban park there is fountain guarded by an old man. When he steals the coin of a young man professing his love, something cosmically shifts that changes these two men and their future. Sundrenched Coffee

Synopsis:
We are in a time where every day public places have turned into personal spaces where nothing is private. People dont look up and see what or who is around them. At Sundrenched Coffee that expectation of solitude begins to chip away for Max, who is happy with is corner booth. He takes comfort in his routine and his judgment of those around him to prove how smart he actually is. When his routine is interrupted and his judgments are questioned by three unlikely customers Max's world shifts from regular to extra caffeinated.

Witness of Existence

Synopsis:
When Scott goes off the grid, his fiance, sister and ex-performance art/drag queen partner think the worst and that he is back to using. As they gather, old hostilities rise and a turf war is in full force while they fight to be top dog in Scott's life.
