Marshaline Letcher is a playwright and former actress. She fell in love playwriting when she was trying to write a play for herself. She finished the play but never had the chance to play the leading role. She has written at least a half dozen full length plays and perhaps a dozen ten minute and other short plays. Her works have primarily been produced in festivals and Off Off Broadway. Also a member of the Playwrights Center and The League of Professional Theater Women

Marcella's Song

Synopsis:
Having finished college MarcElla and her mother are still in conflict. as a child MarcElla found refuge from her mother's hateful words and drunken parties by talking to her doll, anastasia. Not finding the love she craves at home she looks for it from two boyfriends and is unsuccessful. Finally after being abused and evicted from her parents house for the last time, she strikes out on her own in search of love and happiness.
