One Week In Jerusalem

Synopsis:
This passion play traces the events of the last week of the life of Jesus of Nazareth, as seen through the eyes of some of his enemies and lesser known friends. Unfortunately, the stately language of the 17th century scholars appointed by King James I to translate the Bible into english, when read today, tends to obscure the human realities of the story. This play attempts to give the essence of the truth in modern idiom. there are several scenes. the setting can be simple curtains.
